King of Ballarat 2007

The time has come. After two ‘warm up’ rounds, the final and deciding race in the King of Ballarat is upon us. Who will be crowned king? With a host of fast riders on call we should see some awesome racing. Fresh from his World Championship campaign in Scotland, Dave Hetherington would have to be favourite, but as always there is a heap of local talent on hand ready to take the crown.

The tracks are looking super fun, one is fast, smooth with a heap of flow. The other is pretty much the opposite with a fairly simple beginning it then takes a sudden turn and drops down quite dramatically with some super steeps chutes and turns. Its going to catch a lot of unsuspecting punters out and I should know after landing on my head there today. It’s definitely going to be the place to watch, so even if you’re not racing, come up and get your heckle on, and have your cameras ready!
